Academic Program

At Eton Academy, our primary focus is to help students who learn differently achieve their fullest potential for academic excellence. Eton Academy offers a comprehensive curriculum that integrates the best available multi-sensory, hands-on and experiential learning methods to meet the individual needs of its students. In addition to its traditional curriculum, Eton Academy focuses on school-wide achievement for students in language and communication, critical thinking and problem solving and social skills. Opportunities to participate fully in sports, the arts, and other extracurricular activities are offered as well.

Methodology

At Eton Academy, we build confident learners, one child at a time. Students, along with their families and faculty, work together to develop academic plans that enable mastery in all subjects while acquiring developmentally appropriate skills, good organization and study habits, and social adeptness. To ensure excellent communication between school and home, Eton Academy provides:

  • Weekly progress reports
  • Quarterly report cards
  • Semi-annual narrative reports
  • Three annual parent-teacher conferences
  • Evaluation of educational gains through both standardized and informal assessments at the beginning and end of the school year
  • Monitored progress in the school-wide outcome areas of writing, problem-solving and social skills.

In addition, Eton's annual Life after High School Symposium introduces students and families to a variety of colleges and universities and provides vital information for college planning.
