Auction Committee—Monday, October 13, 8:45 a.m.
Join your fellow Eton parents to help make the biggest fundraiser of the year a success. Volunteers are needed and welcomed! Meetings held in the auditorium.

Picture Day—Tuesday, October 14
Eton is using the same photographer as last year. A letter will go home soon, detailing picture purchase options. No money or orders need to be placed in advance. After the photos have been taken, parents will received samples of various poses shot, and can choose their purchases at that time. The photography backgrounds will be traditional. Dress code is required.

B.B.F.A.—Tuesday, October 14, 7:00 p.m.
Eton hosts the Birmingham Bloomfield Families in Action as they present a series of presentations.
Free and open to the public.
Topic: Women & Contentment: Learning to be Content with Yourself and How Your Happiness Affects Parenting
Presenter: Sharon Field Hoffman, Ph.D.

U.S. Back to School Reception—Wednesday, Oct. 15, 6:30-8:00 p.m.
All Upper School parents are invited to attend this special reception to take “A Look Into Eton’s Future.”
Light hors d’oeuvres served.

M.S. & U.S New Student Get Together—Thursday, Oct. 16
This event is designed for students to socialize and get to know each other. It takes place as part of the school day.

PSO Meeting—Thursday, Oct. 16, 8:30 a.m.
Meetings are held in the auditorium. During this meeting, Ellen Tatone, Student Development Specialist will share information about the Social Skills Development Program at Eton Academy. All parents are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Hoe Down—Thursday, Oct. 16, 5:30-7:30 p.m. (NO SPORTS)
A fun evening for all parents, students, family & friends. Pancake supper and square dancing with a professional caller!
$5.00 for those over 6 years old. Tickets can be purchased at the door. RSVP 248.642.1150 ex. 386.
HOE DOWN ADULT SUPERVISION/CHAPERONES REQUIRED: Every student must have an adult chaperone present.
HOE DOWN DAY AFTER CARE: If your child is not regularly scheduled to attend After Care, and you plan to send your child to After Care prior to the Hoe Down, please contact Ms. Lauren Trueman as soon as possible. ltrueman@etonacademy.org or call 248.642.1150.

Primary Grades New Student Get-Together—Friday, Oct. 17
This event is designed for students to socialize and get to know each other. It takes place as part of the school day.

Registration Ends—Friday, October 17
Upper School Annual Trip to Camp Hayo-Went-Ha
It is going to be an exciting trip accented with team building activities. Student activities include zip lines, ropes courses, wall climbing, and much more. The trip’s cost is approximately $200 (includes stay, meals and all activities) Camp Hayo-Went-Ha is in the process of updating their prices for 2009. Final price will be announced at that time.
